Where we started
- The till system was old, but every sale went through it: replacing it meant stopping work.
- More than 80,000 items that keep changing: adding new ones and removing old ones was slow, and no list said what to remove.
- What to reorder from China, and what was already on its way, only one person knew.

The supplier sends the list in Excel. You upload it, check the preview and only then confirm: codes the catalogue does not know wait to be registered, and the same list never goes in twice.

Negative or zero stock is nearly always a mistake, or an item that no longer sells. Each row is checked one at a time, and who checked it stays on record.

What the system does
- What to reorder and how much, in red, yellow and green, based on what actually sells: thresholds can be adjusted and the sums are redone at once
- Incoming containers followed stage by stage: the supplier's list is uploaded in Excel, checked in a preview and never goes in twice
- Negative and zero stock checked row by row, with the name of who did it: items that no longer exist leave the catalogue
- Customers to call back: at least three orders in the last year, and none for more than two months
How we built it
- We did not replace the till: the system starts from its data (items, stock, sales, customers), and whoever is at the till works as before.
- The full catalogue, with supplier, purchase price and pieces per carton taken from the purchase lists they already had.
- The list of negative stock exports to Excel in shelf order, with two empty columns to fill in by hand during the count.
- Three roles (owner, manager, warehouse), and it works on a phone and inside WeChat, where the links come from.
